Dandre Eric Davis, a 31-year-old Maryland resident and employee at Luke C. Moore Opportunities Academy in Washington, D.C., has been charged with distribution of child pornography. The charges were announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro after a complaint was unsealed.
Court documents state that beginning January 12, 2026, Davis communicated with another user on an online dating application about his sexual interest in children. During the exchanges, Davis described himself as a “kinky perv” and indicated an interest in children between the ages of 7 and 15. The conversations later moved to Telegram, an encrypted messaging platform, where Davis distributed two videos showing sexual acts involving prepubescent boys.
FBI Assistant Director in Charge Darren B. Cox of the Washington Field Office joined U.S. Attorney Pirro in announcing the charges.
The investigation is being conducted by the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force. Assistant United States Attorney Richard Kelley is prosecuting the case.
This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in February 2006 to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Project Safe Childhood brings together federal, state, and local resources to identify, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet and to help rescue victims.
