Federal civil practice seminar to feature ethics, psychology, and litigation strategy sessions

The 20th Annual Federal Civil Practice Seminar is scheduled for May 15, 2026, in Richland. Registration will open in the coming weeks.

Vicky Vreeland of Vreeland Law is set to discuss ethical issues involved in representing multiple plaintiffs. Jay McEntire and Colin Prince from Connelly Law will lead a session on how persuasive psychology can be used to influence judges and juries. Ed Budge of Budge & Heipt and Tom Miller from Keating, Bucklin & McCormack will provide differing perspectives on strategies for civil-rights litigation.

The seminar will also include an update on recent federal case law and a panel where attendees can ask questions directly to judges. These sessions are designed to offer practical insights for legal professionals.
