Joshua C. Lewis has been appointed as the new District Court Executive and Clerk of Court, effective January 10, 2026. The appointment was formalized through an official order.

Lewis brings experience from his previous role at the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, where he served as Judicial Conference Secretariat Officer and Chief of the Judicial Services Office. His career also includes service as Clerk of Court for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He held other positions in Western Pennsylvania, including Chief Deputy Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court and law clerk.

Before his federal government roles, Lewis practiced commercial law in New York and Pennsylvania. He was also Executive Director of a non-profit organization focused on providing legal aid to children in foster care. Lewis holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
