Kevin Bing, a 31-year-old resident of Washington D.C., has been sentenced to four years in prison for his involvement in the burglary of a 7-Eleven store earlier this year. The sentencing took place in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and was announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

Bing pleaded guilty on August 12, 2025, to one count of second-degree burglary. Judge Jennifer Di Toro handed down the sentence on October 15, 2025, which also includes three years of supervised release following his prison term.

According to evidence presented by the government and agreed upon by Bing, he and three unidentified accomplices broke into a closed 7-Eleven store located in the 5200 block of 3rd Street Northeast on March 19, 2025. The group used a prybar to force open the front door before bringing in a hydraulic prying tool to open an ATM machine inside the store and steal cash. Additionally, they stole a cell phone from one of the store’s employees before fleeing.

Bing was arrested on March 20, 2025, and has remained in custody since that time.

Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department joined U.S. Attorney Pirro in announcing the sentence. Both officials commended investigators from the Metropolitan Police Department for their work on the case and acknowledged Assistant U.S Attorney Michael Roberts for prosecuting it.

“This matter occurred on date indicated but not published at that time due to government shutdown. Press release posted and made available following the return to normal operations.”
