The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington announced on April 1 that its Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system will be unavailable due to scheduled software updates. The outage is planned to begin at 6:00 p.m. Pacific time on April 10, with services expected to resume by approximately 6:00 p.m. on April 12.

The temporary unavailability is necessary as the court applies important software updates to its electronic filing and case management systems. The CM/ECF platform is a critical tool used by attorneys, court staff, and parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings for filing documents and accessing case information electronically.

During this maintenance window, users will not be able to access or file documents through the CM/ECF system. The court has advised all users to plan accordingly and consult the provided Release Notes for more details about the update process.

This planned outage highlights ongoing efforts by the court to maintain and improve its technological infrastructure in order to support efficient case processing.

Further updates regarding service restoration or additional instructions are expected if any changes occur during the scheduled maintenance period.
